Snow White and the SIX Dwarves
GHR received seven baby Syrian hamsters at the beginning of February 2025. They were born on Christmas Day in 2024. The average life-expectancy for this species of hamster is 2-3 years.
These sweet little babies are from an accidental litter that one of our amazing volunteers rescued from Oklahoma! They are ridiculously cute and are learning socialization skills with their same-sex sibling groups right now. They love to sleep in a big warm pile and enjoy claiming time on one of the two wheels in their enclosure. They also love their free-range time in our playpen and are showing the funniest personalities! They will be ready to venture out to become independent hamsters once they reach 8 weeks. They will each come with an enclosure containing all necessary items, one bag of paper-based bedding, one bag of food, and one bag of sand.
The adoption fee for each baby is $50.
An additional suggested donation of $50 to $75 is recommended to cover food, bedding, sand, and enclosure materials.
