Mocha
GHR received Mocha at the beginning of February 2025. Mocha is an 11-month-old, female, brown, long-haired Syrian hamster. The average life-expectancy for this species of hamster is 2-3 years.
Mocha and Macchiato are two sweet female sisters that were surrendered from a family in Aurora. Mocha is a beautiful chocolate brown color and wants lots of attention! She usually stands up near her food bowl after getting her dinner to ask to be picked up again. She also loves to rearrange the “furniture” in her enclosure, and we often wake up to a new setup that she finds more appealing! She comes with an enclosure containing all necessary items, one bag of paper-based bedding, one bag of food, and one bag of sand.
The adoption fee for Mocha is $50.
An additional suggested donation of $50 to $75 is recommended to cover food, bedding, sand, and enclosure materials.
